Beatriz Ordaz Ramirez (Betty) is one of the co-founders of Voces de Nashville. She is originally from Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico, where she was a private accountant by profession. She arrived in Nashville in 2007. Currently she enjoys being a mother of 2 beautiful children, who are her motivation in everything that she does. She has worked in different areas of work in Nashville, including housekeeping, construction cleaning, office cleaning. She has sold food from her home (her famous tamales!) and is currently enjoying teaching Spanish.
She is a woman with a willingness to help the Nashville community as a volunteer in different organizations and community support groups. She is a faithful admirer of her mother and of all women, because she can see that they all have special talents which are worthy of admiration and recognition.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family. She considers family to be the base of everything, and if everyone in your family is well, life flows better. She also loves to work in her garden because she feels it is a way to release the stress of everyday life. She loves flowers and enjoys growing fresh vegetables and fruits.
Beatriz Ordaz Ramirez (Betty) es una de las co-fundadoras de Voces de Nashville. Es originaria de Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, México, donde era contador privado de profesión. Llegó a Nashville en el año 2007. Actualmente disfruta ser madre de 2 hermosos hijos, los cuales son su motivación para no rendirse en todo lo que hace. Ha trabajado en diferentes áreas laborales en el área de Nashville, incluso housekeeping, limpieza de construcción, y limpieza de oficinas. Ha vendido comida desde su hogar (sus famosos tamales!) y actualmente es maestra de español en Voces de Nashville.
Betty es una mujer con disposición de ayudar a nuestra comunidad como voluntaria en diferentes organizaciones y grupos de ayuda comunitaria. Es fiel admiradora de su madre y de todas las mujeres, porque puede ver que todas tienen talentos especiales, los cuales son dignos de admiración y reconocimiento.
En su tiempo libre disfruta pasar tiempo con su familia. Considera que la familia es la base de todo, y si todos están bien las cosas y la vida fluye mejor. También le encanta trabajar en su jardín. Siente que es una manera de liberar el estrés de la vida cotidiana. A Betty le encantan las flores y disfruta cultivar vegetales y frutas frescas.
